Penmanship

I've been titling my posts,
Er, oddly lately.  Have you noticed that?  Actually, that's kinda a good thing because you're more likely to remember the post title if it's unusual.  ANYWAY!!!

I present to you...the boogie board (don't laugh, I did NOT name it that).  I wanted to show you a talent I recently unlocked.  Somewhere, up there in my clogged mind, I had this little doodle skill hiding somewhere.  Anyway, here it is.

I don't have a name for it (fancy?) but this is the way I can sign anyone's name.  I do three styles - a) decorated, b) covered, and c) full.  I mainly do decorated, occasionally covered, and only once full.  No, twice.  It was cool.

Here are some pictures so you can figure out what I'm talking about (you:  what is she talking about?  why can't she just stop beating around the bush and SAY what she's talking about.  Augh! [or something like that)

This is what's known as "decorated".  It's fancy and cool looking, but you can still easily pick out the word (if you can't, it's Noelle.
This is "covered".  You really have to look to see the words "your name".
By the way, I will do your name if you want, because really if only takes five minutes max for one name with no color, 30 minutes max for one name with color.
I have to go, but by for now!

Obsession, Take 2

I want to thank a special person today.
I just want to say, it it's wasn't for this person, I never would have started blogging daily.  She inspired me to reach farther, regardless of reader feedback (more like lack of).  Today, I want to thank...and you'll have to click below if you want to find out.

Live Love Laugh

I don't know why,
But that seemed like the appropriate title for this post.  I'm very happy right now - I just got a pedicure (it looks amazing) went to Chilies (it tasted amazing) and it's amazing weather (it's so amazing).  Anyway, wanted to tell you guys that the supposed "grand re-opening" on April 1st has been postponed indefinitely.  In other words, it's not happening.  With school, chores, friends, more school, church, sunday school, piano, dance class, and any other stuff I may have forgotten to mention, I've been barely keeping up with my blog, and I don't have time to make five posts in two days, especially with the nice Texas weather recently.  There's nothing like an 85˙ March day to warm you up.  (If only it was January).

I have to go now, I hope you enjoyed this post!

Photos

Got a new
App on my Google Drive (which is SO something you should get if you have a google account) and it's a photo editor and here are some pictures I did:
It's me!

That's supposed to be a paw print by the way.

A collage that is me!  There might be a couple repeats here and there.

That is a lot of photos.
That's all I have time for - have to go, bye!

Quick

I really don't
Have much time but I really want to share these videos but I don't have much time to type up a full description of each so I'll do that tomorrow so here they are!
Announcing: The Grand Re-Opening of AF Bratlife
Recruit your friends (and why)
Made this all by myself!
Gotta go, school time!

Hope!

I just figured out how
To do videos, and I really hope this will work.  I can't actually load it onto here, and I don't know if this link will work, but here goes.  Click here to see an AF Bratlife ad.  Technically, it works because I can get to it, but that doesn't mean you can.  You know this blog.  It stinks sometimes.  Anyway, I made it look like a real ad.  If it does work, then this one should to.  Click here to see the first one I made.  That one I made by myself.  :-)

Gotta go now, bye!

Right now.  No more Honduras (I promise).  Continuing....

I don't have a lot
Of time, so I really hope this video will load!  Hope hope hope hope.  It worked!  This is a video of me learning how hard it is to be a firefighter.  :-)  Gotta go...enjoy!

Honduras 4

For some reason,
I've been doing tons of ongoing posts recently!  Any ideas why?  Another question: do they capture your interest?  Do you keep checking my blog until they're all over?  I'm very curious.  Oh!  Another question: if you see a link saying "Want more? Click here!" do you usually click on it?  That's the other part of the post.

Anyway, on with the show.  To Honduras!  It's gorgeous down there, raining a lot and having 80˙ weather in December.  Here's some pictures from around the base, just click below.

Friday, March 21

Honduras 3

Hello!
Here's some more (in case it's not all) of the rest of my "Honduras" post.  You really, really, really want to take a look at the link below because it's the rest of the post (btw).

Thursday, March 20

Honduras (2)

I realized today,
That a) I never told you about my trips to Honduras and b) I really wanted to post so...what was I supposed to do?  I know that any of my readers that are daily might not check today because yesterday I said I wouldn't, but then again that was 11:00 PM so...?  By the way, this is the second post I made labeled "Honduras".  If you want to see the first one, click on this link.

Anyway, Honduras!  It's warm first of all.  We went swimming on Christmas break (that's a first!).  My favorite memories of Honduras are from Roatan, a resort island off the coast.  We had tons of fun, and I went snorkeling for the first time!  I don't have any real photos of me scuba diving, but the fish were amazing!  The fish came right up to you and some of them were the size of my head.  I found this really cool photo on Sea of Shoes of some fish that I thought you'd like.
Have you ever been to the Fort Worth Zoo?  They have koi in the moat of the ostrich/giraffe/duck exhibit (I'm not sure if the ducks were an original part of the exhibit).
We got to spend lots of time with Dad, even though he had to work some.  And I got to learn how to drive!  Ok, driving a golf cart is not the same as driving a car, but I don't have to have a learner's permit or anything to learn how to drive a golf cart (this might go on for more than one post....)
Me driving on the dirt roads.  Dad's correcting me and Mom's taking pictures from the back seat.

Mom made a panorama on her phone.  This is the nice area of the nice base.  Oh, that's me in the backseat of Daddy's golf cart.
Oop, gotta go, bye!

IBD finale

Usually,
The word finale means SUPERimpressive, but I'm going to keep this short and sweet.  I don't have much time and I'm really tired, plus I'm sure you are too.

I imagine somewhere, there is a reader going, "how can a twelve-year-old blogger post so much on a SCHOOL day?  Did she skip school?  Bring an iPad?"  The sweet, inspiring truth is I didn't even touch my computer today.  I went to school, and then to my friend Mia's, and then to dance class, but I never got on my blog.  I hope you enjoyed today as much as I did and will continue to read my blog, post comments, have reactions, and (of course) feed my cute fish.  I won't post tomorrow, because I'm pretty sure you're still trying to figure out what you missed.  Talk to you on the 21st!

IBD 123

HIYA!!!
I'm totally psyched that I made it this far!  Only one more post to go, and then International Blogging Day will be over!  Remind me to never do this again, it's a pain.

I like writing my posts like I'm really talking to my readers.  When you say, "wow, this post really speaks to me" I consider that a really good comment because I want it to seem like I'm really there.  That would be creepy at points, but what I'm trying to get at here is the fact that my move is a lot closer on this side of winter and I'm starting to get to the point where I really have to think about it.  So, I have been thinking.  And thinking.  And thinking some more.  A lot.

My readers in Granbury:
Most of you I see at least once a week, some more some less.  I will really miss you, and I will never forget you.  I want to say "I'll see you in ______ years" but if you want the truth, I can't say that.  I don't know when I'm coming back, or IF I'm going back, or if I'll ever see my friends from Granbury again.  I want you to know that I will NEVER forget you and that you have a special spot in my photo album of friends.

IBD 122

Hi there.
I'm SUPERtired from a long day of blogging right now and I'm sure you're SUPERtired from a long day of reading my blogging so I'm going to keep this fairly short.

This is post #22 of 24 to celebrate International Blogging Day, I dare you to celebrate too by commenting on all 24 posts.

Recently got a boogie board!  These are ingenious tablets, I'll have to post photos tomorrow (if I haven't gone into the deadly blogging coma!  Let's hope).  They include a tablet and an erasable never-wears out drawing board the size of a smaller paper.  It's just $22!  At least, the version I bought is.  It depends on the version and color.  You should at least look at it, even if you're not interested.  Are you saying, "But I can't draw a straight line!  Why would I need a boogie board?"?  I have the answer:  it can be used for school and accounting to, plus you can draw through paper so you can improve your skillz by tracing a lot of different drawings (you can start with mine).  Take it from me (I am an artist) you do not need to feel like you're cheating when you trace.  One of my favorite artists said that copying is on the road to success.

I'm done.

IBD 121

After many careful
Calculations, I figured that since my 100th post there has been an increase of 490% in my posts.  That's pretty impressive.  Actually, the calculator said 490% and I said 500% because I did round one of my numbers.  Plus, I had never been taught how to do that so....

As you know, this is post #21 or 24!  Yes, that's right, I only have 3 more posts and I'll be done for the day.  Today is International Blogging Day, and to celebrate, I'm posting ever hour for 24 hours.  You can celebrate too by commenting on every post on March 19th.  Please remember that if you don't have a Google account or are not signed into it to switch your identity to "anonymous" and if you do to SIGN your comments.

I told you I would finish my post on my Minecraft world "build!" right now so here goes.

IBD 120

Only four more
Posts to go!  That will make 24, and by that point, International Blogging Day will be over.

Have you ever heard of Minecraft?  It's a very obsessing game.  The world is all three-demensional, but very...blocky.  In "survival" mode, you have to fend for yourself in a possibly barren world, complete with monsters (including zombies, creepers [large green things that blow up while being as close as possible to you], spiders [three feet long spiders.  It's not a spider as we know it], and skeletons [with bow-n-arrows and a tendency to shoot them at you]).  In "creative" mode, you can fly, have unlimited resources, and the day NEVER ends.  Ever.
I created a world in creative specifically for making "great works of art and architecture".  Click below to see my wonderful world of Minecraft.  You will be amazed.  Trust me.  You know you want to...click it!  Click it!  Cliiiiiiickkkk iiiiiiiittt....

IBD 119

Hello!
All information about IBD can be found in the last 18 posts that I mentioned it in (meaning the last 18 posts).
I realized I can re-upload my pictures, so I'm going to go through and find the best of AF Bratlife. Click on the link below-if you dare!

IBD 118

Decided, since
Today is such a special day to do two things: one is to make it so all 24 posts can be seen tomorrow, and the second is to posts some clothes.  They would be my "what I'm wearing today posts" but I don't have those so....
How to be an old fashioned person.

DIY: how to be an...er...new fashioned person?  (subtitled included)

Oh, wait forgot one thing.

Buy these shoes!  They are AMAZING!!!  Got these (sadly) from my grandmother along with two pairs of flip flops (different post) and fell in LOVE.  Literally.  Not really for sale by the way.  And if they are, not from me!

Noelle, moody and mysterious (and slightly mischievous) blogger.
Oh yah.  This is post #18 of 24, we're celebrating International Blogging Day (which I SO did not make up because I just wanted to do a lot of posts in one day), you can celebrate too by commenting on every post (there are, as mentioned, going to be 24 be midnight tonight).

IBD 117

I don't know about you,
But this is the time that I usually check all the blogs that I follow, so I'm going to make this post extra special just for my readers.

This is post #17 of 24.  That is because it is International Blogging Day, and to celebrate, I'm posting 24 times (once every hour).  You can celebrate too by commenting on every post I make today!

Thought of this ingenious writing exercise today!  I call it: If I was a billionaire!  What would you do if you were a billionaire?  I know what I would do!  I would...

  1. Give a lot of money to good causes.
  2. Build a target, barns&noble, ihop, and possibly dunkin' donuts right next to my fab house.
  3. Make someone publish or make or sell or do something with my fashion designs.
  4. Thank my dear mum for 48 hours of pain and suffering I caused her while giving birth (unintentionally of course) by giving her a dangle-you-toes-in pool, plus hiring a cook, massage person, and pool boy, not to mention five maids.
  5. Make a zipline course that goes on for hundreds of feet and starts really high up.
  6. Make a really awesome house.
  7. Upgrade my tree house.
I'm going to post about Sea of Shoes now.  If you don't want more, you don't want more (that would be a hint not to click on the link below.  But that's not like you - it's practically calling you!)

IBD 116

Hello in internet land!
If you want info on "IBD" go back a post.  You'll learn everything you want to know.

For those of you who never check up on my blog, or who just haven't noticed, I added some buttons to my header.  First of all, I added a very important link: the AF Bratlife Survey!  This is where you answer some questions about AF Bratlife so we can make sure your reading enjoyment is as simple, easy, and attractive as possible.  Since it's so important, here's the link.  Click here for the AF Bratlife Survey!  Second, if you are new or want to learn more about me, you should take a look at the link that says "New? IBD 115

Ok, here goes....
Welcome to post #15 of 24 to celebrate International Blogging Day!  You want to celebrate too?  You can!  Just comment on every single post!  Only 9 more to go (one every hour).

Was going through my folders and realized I have about 18 billion photos from sea of shoes.  However, if you don't want to see them  all (I do post a lot of her photos) then you don't have to.  The photos are on "the other side" of this link:

IBD 114

Hello.
Welcome to post #14 of 24 to celebrate International Blogging Day!  You want to celebrate too?  You can!  Just comment on every single post!  Only 10 more to go (one every hour).

Was looking through the last 13 posts (hey! thirteen is my favorite number) and realized I never finished my jewelry posts.  So here is the last of the jewelry photos.
This bracelet I got from my dear daddy in Honduras.  It says "my daddy is my hero".

Dying for a chance to wear this, but because of all the colors it matches NOTHING!  Have to wear it on white....

Got this bracelet on my med disney cruise.  Was posing and accidentally punched myself in the nose.

Don't know where I got that charm.

Either says "be mine" or "be strong".  Got it for my birthday.

Have to go, see you next hour.

IBD 113

Can't believe
That I'm actually managing to pull this whole one-post-an-hour thingie.  As you know, today is International Blogging Day and I'm posting one-post-an-hour for 24 hours.  You can celebrate too by commenting on every post.  I have written that same speech 11 times now and it is getting boring.  I think I'll just copy and paste from now on.

As I said is some posts before this, I really have been into Pinterest lately.  I only have one board (because I share an account with mom) but luckily there is no limit to what I can pin.  So here is my "water" pins.
My God has made so many amazing things.  This jumping shark is just one of them.

This manetee is so perfect it looks like a painting.  This was taken by a skilled photographer.

I would so do that for hours if I was a mermaid.  Once I took a hand held mirror and stuck it under water facing up.  The effect was amazing.

Dolphins!  Everyone likes them, always have and always will.

Sea turtle!  This is the origional colors of the painting, so much detail!

Looks like whale found a friend!

False killer whales are some of my favorite kinds of dolphins.  Here's a photo of two of them.  Love how the sun pinpoints on some distant, deep point far off.

This is not something you think about!  What happens when the elephants meet the sea?  This!

What if you're scuba diving and you see that coming at you?  Ahhh!

These stray cats were apparently waiting for the fishing boats to come back.  Such a good photo.

Next hour, gator!
Toodles!

IBD 112

ARG!!!
I'm not going to say the usual speech this time because honestly it's driving me crazy and also honestly if you really want to read it you can just go back to the last post and enjoy.

I found this really cool app for only 99 cents called chic! design and dress up.  I know it sounds like one of those cheesy dress up games but it's actually really fun, plus it's practically so easy it's fool proof, and although it's all old stuff (victorian to the 1950's) I have done some really modern and original outfits on there.  And it's only 99 cents!  You should look into it if you like clothes or designing or drawing or ... anything.  Just get it!

See?  Modern!

Me at my future wedding (who's the lucky guy?)

An older version of my mom's church outfit.  Lol.

One of my fashion rules is only two words: who says?
Ok, sorry for the rush and shortness but I don't have much time gotta go bye!  See you next hour!

IBD 111

Welcome to
The most amazing post ever (not really).  This post is post #11 of 24 to celebrate International Blogging Day, or IBD as it says in the title.  Every hour I'm posting an unique and interesting post.  You can celebrate too by commenting on every post.

I posted not too long ago (don't know how long it was actually) that I was obsessing about peacocks all because of one photo.
This is that photo.  It's on the cover of my Pinterest board.
Here's some more photos I've found of peacocks.  They are such beautiful birds.  Maybe I can have a peacock dress when I grow up (no real feathers, that's cruel).  I think I may have looked at every peacock photo to be found on Pinterest.
Pretty!  But not as pretty as it's real counterpart.

OMGoodness!  This peacock is so white it looks purple.  I'm in love!

Didn't even know peacocks COULD fly, much less that they DID.  But here it is....

Like this peacock jewelry set more than the first one.

It's pink.  Seriously.  I'm speechless!

This photo might have had something to do with my peacock infatuation.

I want that for my future front door.  Seriously.

Pink!  Wonder if it's the same peacock.

I love this painting!  And I'm not really into eastern style paintings!

Can someone get this for me?  It's like $25 dollars somewhere...they have to sell it SOMEwhere, right?

Want this in my window.  Just think of the colors in the afternoon.  It could inspire 20 fashion designs and a couple of paintings on top of that!

Oooh...ah....

It's PINK!!!

Isn't this so pretty?  It's also a bit odd, because both of them are boys, but still so beautiful.

Those are just so pretty.

Angry peacock!  The blue one looks worried...I don't blame him.

I wonder if anyone's tried breeding a peacock and a swan together?  The effect would be glorious (I also like swans - they can swim.  Peacocks can't)

Classic peacock picture.  I once went to this zoo where they have like 10 peacocks that roam free.  This particular zoo is all rescue animals (I'm not sure if the same goes for the peacocks) and you can feed all the animals popcorn.  It was the first time I saw a peacock up close and it left me in awe.

I shall see you in one hour.
