Going...going...

So I'm leaving Granbury
Tomorrow.  I know I never mentioned it, but I was visiting my dear family down in Texas, as well as Mia my best friend from SHAPE Academy.  I'm going down to Austin tomorrow with my grandfather (OGee), then flying with him back to New Jersey, where he will spend Thanksgiving with us.
Oh I will kiss the ground when I have a normal schedule. (not really)
That's all I wanted to say.  Thanks for reading and be sure to read our "How to Subscribe" section at the bottom of the page.  :-)

But we stormed the museum...here's the photos to prove it!

Sculpture Garden

So I'm looking through
The photo albums on my Mom's iPhone, and I keep saying to myself, "Hey, I meant to post that...and that...and that!"  So for the next few days, photo and video dumps on my part, of my life, to you.  So you can admire my awesomeness (just kidding with you!)

I'm not going to subtitle these, but they are all sculptures at this sculpture garden thing we went to, and none of them are living...so cool.

Patrick Kelly with Ali Bayse Section 2

Ok,
So two days ago or something I posted about my trip to the Patrick Kelly exhibit.  I also said that there was more photos to photo dump on here (I've been going through all the photos I take on mom's phone on trips and realized I have a ton more photo dumping to do).

Anyway, we didn't just do the Patrick Kelly exhibit (though I'm not done with that) but a two other exhibits.  One was called "Silver and Gold" and the other "Patrick Kelly loves >something I don't remember< Jeans"

Anyway, here is the rest of the Patrick Kelly exhibit photos...the others are forthcoming.
Those are real nails.  I don't think airport security would be happy

Patrick Kelly with Ali Basye

Now I FINALLY get to sound like
A real Se-of-Shoes-y fashion blog, because I went one a field trip to day.  I went to the Philadelphia Museum of Art to see the Patrick Kelly, Runway of Love exhibit.  Patrick Kelly is this fascinating fashion designer from the 1980s.  He lived and grew up in Louisiana and...well, read it yourself my fingers hurt.  Patrick Kelly, click here.

Anyway, I have a ton of photos on here, so let me dump them.  Will post more from my recent trips soon, but like I said my fingers hurt.
Sorry its so blurry, but this is the outfit hall.

Sod Squad

Today was my last day of
The official 4-H Summer.  We sodsquadders had a lot of fun though!  First of all, since we spent most of the last meeting either
A) Trying to heard five unruly sheep and one black alpaca who likes his sace
B) Working through the giant forest of lambsquarter (a kind of weed) as tall as me, thereby battling against angry red ants and eliminating a ground hog hole.  It could still use a lot of work though.
C) Debating whether to use a size 0 pin or a size 2 pin to stab

Popcorn Zoo

I recently went to
The Popcorn Park with my Mom and OG (my grandfather).  If you have been, comment "Go Popcorn Zoo!".  Anyway, if you have not been, it's this little animal park where many abused and mistreated animals find a home.  Like Gina and the other tiger housed with her, which were meant to be shot on a regular basis for fun and lived in a dirty trailer.  Or BooBoo, a black bear that had her claws taken out so a petting zoo could offer to take a million photos a day of her being nursed in the lap of tourists.  The list goes on and on.

Anyway, this has been the one zoo I have ever been to where you are allowed to feed the animals!  They sell bags of popcorn which you can feed to all the animals (the tigers do NOT appreciate this!).  They also LET Canada Geese nest and drink water here.  The deer exhibit is amazing.  The whole heard will come up to you and they have an albino one!

We had a great time and went to Rita's afterwards for water ice.  It was SO yummy, as usual.  I got my fave - cherry and mango.  With one of those cute tiny taste tester spoons!  I love those little things.  If you love Rita's comment "Rita'a Rocks!!!".  :-)

I have to show you this hilarious video of the goat we were feeding...tomorrow!  Hahahahhahahahaha!  LOL.
