Lists are good! I make an annual list on or around December 1 of all my favorite things of that moment: color, movies, books, artists, designers, bands, people, animals, etc. Then I write a paragraph of what I'm doing, where I am, and what my goals are for the next year and the next five years. I've been doing it every year since i was 12 and it's so fun to look back and see what I liked and what I STILL like.
