Amazing, fabulous, interesting, cool, awesome, invigorating, enthralling, riveting, odd, staggering, shocking, stupefying...er...educating facility ever. Me and my friend Mia (she's in my class) wrote this post together because more eyes are better than one.
We're in the very small 6th grade which includes She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, Mia, Zion, and I. She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named (she was very angry with me for including her name and so I edited this post) has a certain love for GermX which I will not delve into with detail, but I will say that it has caused stains on the classroom's walls. Zion...well, the best way to describe Zion is to tell you of a poem that I wrote:
Zion.
Zion eats the foulest things,
Like glue and germx and thick metal rings.
He scares me with his
appetite
And asking him sheds no light.
Perhaps you'll have better luck,
But otherwise I suggest you duck.
My friend Mia is a pretty cool kid. She gets her school work done fairly quietly and attempts to shelter as much of the oblivious teacher's books from the "flying germx". Plus she likes playing uno, so how bad can she be? Me? Mia reports that I'm "nice, smart, talented, odd-ish, and 12"
One of our favorite teachers is Mrs. Brennan. She teaches math, which can be very annoying sometimes (for her that is. For us it's a blast) However, she puts up with it - actually beyond that. She allows us to sit on the floor, do our homework in class, and play awesome games like Towers of Hanoi, Blink, and War. We even played uno once (uno is my favorite). Mrs. Leonard was Mia's choice in teachers. She teaches english, which we have to do double classes for on Wednesdays. That means we do like 300% of the regular class. Mrs. Leonard is a very interesting character, but she gives us jelly beans, so she can't be all bad.
SHAPE may not be the perfect school for everyone, especially those who have spent much of their time in public school, but for Mia and I, it is perfect.
