It took some searching,
But I eventually found that my collector's tendency will come in handy as a fashion designer. To my dedicated readers: you remember those "inspiration on the go" pages that I gave instructions on how to make? Well those have an official fashion designer name: mood board. Tracked down some good ones here.
Was trawling across google images and found this: and love it. Blue. Belt. Necklace. Black. Gorgeous perfect hair that no one has (except for Jane, the Sea of Shoes writer)

Noelle: What is your favorite way to make a mood board? I used to keep a big notebook and clip from magazines but now I want to make a mood board on the internet. I have used Pinterest (not the same) and some other programs but haven't found the perfect online mood board making program. Have you?
Unfortunately, no. What I did find is this wonderful thing call "Google". Beats everything. Heehee. I do my mood boards on Pages (Mac's version of Word) and print them, and write little notes all over them in different pen colors. It's fun, but I don't suggest you do a bunch all at once. Can you post documents on here I wonder?
I can't post documents as a reader. Once I finish school (8 weeks!) I want to start more art projects and can share boards and stuff with you. Right now I am too busy to be creative anyway.
I am sorry you aren't in the Northwest this week. We are having our annual school fashion show on Thursday and I've been working around the clock to get it going. I will send you a link to pictures of student work when it's over so you can see some of the amazing young talent I get to work with every day!
