*DIY Lip Balm!

 Are you a sucker for lipstick deals, the latest products and experimenting with new brands and colors  Have you realized that you own more lipsticks than pairs of underwear but you can’t bring yourself to throw them away?

If this sounds familiar, save yourself a few pennies by making use of these unused
products and get creative. Use that unwanted lipstick and turn it into a tinted lip balm; subtle enough for everyday wear, and you’re saving yourself money on buying even more lip products….sounds like a great deal!

For this DIY lip balm, all you will need is a pot of Vaseline, Lipstick and a small portable container. Start by taking a spoon of vaseline, and putting it in a microwavable bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, take it out and let it cool. Cut a piece of lipstick and put it into the same bowl, and mix the vaseline and lipstick together until it is soft and mixed well. Put the mixture in a small container, and refrigerate for half an hour.

Et voilà, it’s as simple as that! Now you have a brand new DIY lip balm without having to open your wallet….perfect!
